It was Christmas Eve and the Junkyard was bustling with activity. Jellylorum was busy with Jennyanydots
to get the younger kits ready when something caught her eye. "Hey, Jenny...?"
She fixed a red bow on a baby tom before
looking to her friend, "What is it dear?"
"What are Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer doing?"
She turned her attention
to the Calicos to see them jumpin on a rather highly elevated chair. "She's got ta be 'bout this much," Mungo said, pushing
Teazer out onto the chair.
"Yeah, but 'et's add a bit mor', jus' in case..." She said back, grabbing a bowling ball.
"There!" She smiled, "Dat ought'ta do it!"
Mungo pulled out a list and checked something off. "A'ight, next is..."
He pointed off somewhere, "Ova there..."
They jumped from the chair and ran off.
Jelly and Jenny looked at each
other and nodded. They se the kittens down and walked over to the calico cats. "Excuse us..."
They two theives jumped
and turned from the tire. Mungo smiled, "E'llo, Jen, Jel! 'Ows life treatin' ya?!" Teazer nodded from behind her brother.
"Oh,
pretty good," Jelly said, flatly.
"Now, what are you 2 up to?" jenny said, tapping her foot impatiantly.
"Aw,
nothin' much," Teazer laughed, nervously.
"Jus' makin' sure ev'rythin' was in tip top shape!" Mungo said, hiding the
list.
"Oh, really?" She asked, "And exactly what did you put behind your back?" She held out her hand.
Teazer
took the list quickly and secretly, "I ain't got nothin!" He insisted and show them his hands, "See?" he put them back and
Teazer put the list back.
"And you?" Jelly demanded to the queen.
She showed her empty hands to her elder and
smiled, "I ain't got anythin' to hide!" She smiled, sweetly.
Of course, the two elders didn't believe them, but as
they stared at each other, they decided that maybe they were trying to help for the Christmas Ball. They sighed, and
nodded. Once they were out of ear shot, the two gave a sigh of relief. "Whelp!" Teazer said, grabbing the list from her brother,
"We gots lots more ta do!"
"Righty-oh!" Mungo said, following her.

((Haha, I completely
forgot about this part. Yeah, I guess it gets a bit less funny then I wanted it to. But be forewarned, I wrote this on my
duty in the library. -__- So I was doing work, while writing.))
"Plllllllleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!"
"....
No!"
"But I promise nothing bad will happen!"
"I said 'No!'"
"But it will only be for just tonight! Besides,
we're going to hand it up anyway..."
Merrilee sighed, turning over on her side, away from Delphine. "I promised Old
Deuteronomy that I wouldn't let this," She held up the Mistletoe, "Get into you hands..."
The white queen slumped her
shoulders. "Please, Merri!!" She grabbed her hand and started to pull, "I'm beggin you!"
"No!" She growled, pulling
her hand way.
"B-b-b-b-...."
"No..."
Well this is quite a rut! How the heck am I supposed to get that
Mistletoe!? She pondered over it for a second, and then it came to her. She put on a sad face and sighed, slumping to
the floor, "Well, then I guess Munkustrap will never get his present..."
The tabby queen's ears percked up, "And what
does Mistletoe got to do with Munkustrap?"
She smiled, Hook... "Everything! It will make your bro one
happy tom!"
Merri pondered on it for a moment. She sat up, looking over her shoulder, "How?"
Delpi smiled, Line...
"That's a secret!"
She grabbed the queen's collar and smirked, "You will tell me..." She whispered dangerously.
The
white queen nodded, quickly, giving her a nervous laugh, "Right, of course!"
She then proceeded to tell Merri of her
plan. She never let go, simply listened. Finally, once she was done, Merri swallowed, "And you're sure that this... 'plan'
of yours is going to make Munkustrap happy?"
Sinker! "Of course!"
The queen sighed, "Okay, but," She
pulled it away from her before she could actually grab it, "If this doesn't work, and Munkustrap gets hurt, Chaos will be
getting an unexpected peace offering..."
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You say it as if I would consider it a bad thing...
She thought bitterly, snatching the Mistletoe, "You worry to much..."
"With you, you can never worry to much..."
"Oh,
that hurt..." She gave the queen a hug, before running off...

((Read Delphine's profile, if you're
wondering why she wasn't nervous about being sent off to Chaos. ^^))
Everything ready?"
Delphine asked, popping up on Mungojerrie.
He jumped from his spot on the mantle and glared at the queen, "Jus' waitin'
for Teaza' to come back wit' the lights..."
She jumped down and flopped onto the couch. She crssed knee over knee and
put her arms behind her head, "Nice place..." She said looking around, "So, how long and good ol' Rumple been gone?"
"'Bout
5 minutes..." He motioned to the attic, "She'll be back soon..."
She nodded. A smirk spread over her face as she said,
"How much do you wanna bet that she'll come in, lights all over her body, some of 'em blinking, and looking like a complete
idiot?"
Mungo glared at her, "I know my sister! She'll get wha't snidded, Lookin' beautiful doin' it, too!"
"So,
you're saying your in?"
"How much?"
"I get 5 fish sticks when this is over..."
He pondered on it for
a minute, "You're on..."
Just then Rumple came in, exactly like Delphi said she would, blinking lights and all. Delphi
laughed, "Told you!" She put a finger to her head, "Never bet on anything with a fortune teller!"
He glared over at
his sister, "Teaza', where did you get those!?"
"I got 'em from da tree!" She answered, "Jus' like you said, Mungo..."
"No!"
He said, jumping down, "You were supposed to get them from the attic! Remember!?"
"No, no, no!" He said, "You said
to get them from the tree cause the ones in the attic aren't good enough..."
"No!" He said, running from the two queens.
Delphi
stopped walking when she got to Rumple. The calico sighed, "The cat needs to get his act together. I mean, why would we get
them from the attic!?" She laughed, shaking her head.
Delphine looked at her, "Okay, Rumple, next time, stop the Q-tip
when there's resistance..." She shook her head, and grabbed the lights. She tugged and tugged until she fell, lights coming
with her.
Mungo came in and said, "We better get out of here before..." he saw Delphi on the floor, "What happened
to you?"
"It's a long..." She started, "Painful story..."
He picked up the lights, "Queens..."
